One of the largest remaining mysteries about Charles Darwin, the whereabout of his letter from the Galapagos Islands, could be finally solved. In the Darwin Year 2009, the letter surprisingly emerged, and with it several sketches of animals never seen before. The fascinating and disturbing drawings show mysterious creatures of unbelievable characteristics and nature. For instance, a flying rabbit with a huge ball-shaped body or a half naked ape with the head of a fish.
